Cowboys’ defensive back DaRon Bland made the play of the day recording an extremely impressive diving interception off Dak Prescott.
Bland showed last season his rookie year was no fluke. The 25-year-old led the league with nine interceptions and proved his ball skills were as good as any defender in the entire league. He is expected to partner up with Trevon Diggs this season to form a formidable outside cornerback duo, giving Dallas two ball-hawks.
The cornerback is already picking up where he left off and earned himself the star of the day.
