Micah Parsons dealing with elbow soreness, Israel Mukuamu, Luke Schoonmaker leave practice
The Dallas Cowboys are firmly into their training camp practice schedule out in Oxnard, California. On Friday, it was brought to light that a few of their contributors are dealing with ailments at the moment. Micah Parsons is currently dealing with some elbow soreness, but he’s still doing conditioning work on the side. Safety Izzy Mukuamu and tight end Luke Schoonmaker both left practice early.
Micah Parsons is not going through one on one pass rush drills. Doing conditioning work off to the side. Told he’s dealing with some elbow soreness.

Israel Mukuamu left practice during special teams drills after walking to the medical tent under his own power. Unclear what happened at moment. Post practice will update.

TE Luke Schoonmaker now being taken to the tent.
HC Mike McCarthy was talking just 2 hours ago about how good Schoonmaker was looking & all he needed to do now was avoid the injuries that have bitten him in the past.

The good thing about Parsons is that he’s clearly not seriously injured but rather just being careful. As for Mukuamu and Schoonmaker, hopefully, it’s nothing serious. Mukuamu has had a good stat to training camp, which is paramount because he has a shot rise up the depth chart. Schoonmaker has already had shoulder and hamstring injuries slow down his progress, so he certainly can’t afford a setback right now as he competes for TE2 duties.
It was reported earlier that Deuce Vaughn and Ryan Flournoy are also missing practice while Tyler Guyton is out with an illness.
We will have further updates on Mukuamu and Schoonmaker after the practice reports surface.
