Cowboys training camp: Micah Parsons was unstoppable on Monday

The lion looks like he’s ready to hunt. While every knows what Micah Parsons is capable of, Monday afternoon served as a reminder for those who might have forgotten.

Micah Parsons was unstoppable on Monday

Is there anything more frustrating to an offense than a pass rusher that is unblockable? It appears based on videos and reports out of Mondays training camp practice, the Cowboys know the feeling all too well.

Parsons starts of the day by laying off the QB here allowing for Dak Prescott to make a play, while also ensuring he gets home for sack before the completion takes place.

From there Parsons gets home for a second time, this time leaving no doubt about what the outcome of the play would be. Parsons hits left tackle Chuma Edoga with a vicious inside path finished off by devastating swim move that left Edoga with little chance to stop him from reaching the QB.

Even with a false start, Parsons is able to get Edoga for a second time, his third of the day, mere minutes apart from one another.

Did you think he was done at three sacks? Not quite, as Parsons finds a way to get around the edge and collects his fourth and final sack of the day.

Parsons was a menace to the Cowboys offense all day, and if it was anybody else we might have to seriously question the game plan on the other side of the ball. However, this is what Parsons does, so in some sense it’s understandable.

All in all, it looks as if the young lion is more ready than ever to hunt, and if this is any indication of what this year could look like, Cowboys Nation may be in for a treat.
