Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints, 2024 NFL Week 2

The Dallas Cowboys are 1-0 and are set to host another team that is undefeated as the New Orleans Saints will be at AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Cowboys beat the Cleveland Browns and the Saints made easy work of the Carolina Panthers. One game is not a viable sample size to come to any conclusions, but it is worth noting that New Orleans’ offense is second in the NFL in EPA/Play at the moment. Given Dallas’ success on defense, they rank 8th in EPA/Play from a defensive perspective, this sort of feels like an incredible battle brewing in Arlington (by the way New Orleans’ defense ranks first defensively!).

Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb are no longer playing their first games since getting their record-breaking extensions. Micah Parsons is continuing to be who he is. Eric Kendricks seems like an incredible find, Trevon Diggs looked marvelous in his return, DeMarcus Lawrence seems as ageless as ever. Needless to say things look promising for the Cowboys these days.

But the Saints can say the same thing. Derek Carr was among the better quarterbacks against pressure last week (so was Dak Prescott to be clear), Alvin Kamara remains effective and Rashid Shaheed is coming into his own in the NFL. Defensively the Saints are led by Cameron Jordan and Demario Davis but are turning into an impressive unit thanks to the likes of Paulson Adeebo among others. It remains unclear if Marshon Lattimore will play which will obviously be an important thing to pay attention to.

Here’s our stream for everything you need to know about it all. We will update it throughout the week to include all relevant news regarding the game, injuries and everything else.
