Cowboys vs Falcons recap: Social media reaction to Dallas’ third loss in a row

The Dallas Cowboys came into Mercedes-Benz Stadium on a three-game winning streak against Atlanta and was looking to make it four. Atlanta had different ideas and the team’s offensive line did well to block in the run game and keep the pressure off Kirk Cousins. On defense, the Falcons were the lowest-rated team in sacks and pressures but had the Cowboys offensive line struggling. How did social media feel about all this?

CeeDee Lamb got some pregame hype with the coaches, he needed to play an important role in today’s game. Trevon Diggs was seen warming up and here with Lamb.

Cowboys made a stop on the first drive.

Cowboys go fast on offense, get to the redzone and Zack Martin misses a block. Brandon Aubrey scores three to get things going.

Falcons drive down the field and score. They made it look easy with the offensive line dominating the entire drive.

Carl Lawson made a huge play and Donovan Wilson scooped up the ball.

Cowboys go for it on 4th-and-1. They gave it to CeeDee Lamb in the backfield and he got pushed back. It was a turnover on downs for Atlanta.

Mike Zimmer couldn’t get his defense organized and called the game poorly that allowed an easy touchdown.

Dak finally rushes for a huge play.

Dak goes back, Dak goes forward…Rico catches, bobbles, catches…TOUCHDOWN!

Carl Lawson had a day.

It was a close game at halftime but Atlanta was playing efficiently on offense.

No Tyler Guyton to start the second half with a neck strain.

The second half started poorly for Dallas.

Fourth down was a huge issue this week.

Before the end of the third, Aubrey hits another from 57-yards. Going into the fourth it’s 21-13 to Atlanta.

Then in the fourth quarter with Dallas down two touchdowns, Dak leaves the game with a hamstring injury and Cooper Rush goes in.

Lamb had issues all game with his shoulder. In the fourth quarter after this play he got taken off the field.

Cowboys score in the last few minutes of the game.

Game over.
