Cowboys vs Eagles recap: Social media reaction to massive loss against division rival

After a week long of depressing news with injuries and roster issues, Dallas Cowboys fans felt uninspired for this week’s contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. The game started off well but soon tumbled. How did social media take to the game as it unfolded?

The Cowboys offense go three-and-out on the first drive.

DeMarvion Overshown has been impressive this year. So much speed.

Cooper Rush takes the shotgun snap and takes his eye off the ball, fumbles, ball lost to the Eagles deep in Cowboys territory.

The Eagles capitalize and score off a push inside the five-yard line.

Cowboys offense does well on the ground with Rico Dowdle. Drive ends in a field goal.

Trevon Diggs does what he does best and makes the interception!

Overshown gets another sack.

Then Micah Parsons welcomes himself back to the NFL with a sack.

The best backup quarterback is a good defense.

Rico Dowdle looks good on the next drive. The offense hands it to Zeke in the redzone and he fumbles before getting in the endzone.

BUT WAIT! Parsons flies in and causes Hurts to fumble on the Eagles five-yard line.

Eagles drive before the half and score with a Dallas Goedert catch.

Cowboys offense come out in the third quarter looking flat and lacking energy.

Eagles score again.

And again…

Trey Lance comes in for a couple of plays.

Salt in the wound at the end of the third quarter, Rush fumbles again and it’s just a mess on the recovery.

Then in the fourth quarter, Jake Ferguson coughs the ball up and the Eagles recover.

Trey Lance throws an interception.

Fans even asked Tony Romo to get back on the field.
