Cowboys 2024 training camp practice #12 live thread: Updates and open discussion
Another practice at Dallas Cowboys training camp is here. We’ll open threads for every practice so that the Blogging The Boys community will have a place to congregate and discuss what is going on at practice.
Unfortunately, dropping a Twitter List into this page no longer functions the way that it used to due to changes that the platform has made. We do have a list we recommend if you want to follow it in another tab. You can access it right here.
In order to keep the flow of things as smooth as possible though we’ll be dropping in updates and news items in this thread. Give us your take on them in the comments.
Editor’s Note: This post will be updated throughout practice with relevant news, information and highlights. The newest ones will be placed at the top so if you miss practice or want to see/read in chronological order make sure to scroll down to start.
The mystery of the front office absence likely solved.
Cowboys are finalizing trading CB Nahshon Wright to Minnesota a person with knowledge of the discussions said.

New wrinkle for the offense. Running back by large committee.
Getting back to practice, John Stephens is making a case.
Cancel those ‘Dak signing’ celebrations.
Dak Prescott is getting a day off with right ankle soreness. It’s a precaution. Team is saying it’s nothing serious.

Mike McCarthy adeptly avoids the latest CeeDee Lamb contract kerfuffle.
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy on CeeDee Lamb: “We miss CeeDee. we love CeeDee. He’s in the middle of a business situation. … It’s like whatever happens in fight club stays in fight club. Whatever happens in business is his business.” pic.twitter.com/UqlrXgaJW7
