Cowboys and Rams to have second joint practice together on Wednesday
The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams had a busy week with one another as they held a scrimmage together in Oxnard in advanced of their preseason game on Sunday. Apparently they are not sick of each other quite yet. According to multiple reports, the Cowboys and Rams are going to hold a second joint practice on Wednesday, this one once again out in Oxnard.
The Cowboys and Rams will have another joint practice on Wednesday in Oxnard at 11 am PT. First one went so well apparently that the coaches opted to do one more.

We live in a world where joint practices have effectively replaced preseason games for NFL coaches in terms of opportunities and repetitions for the starters on their respective teams. Getting a chance to work against another team is incredibly valuable and it appears that both Mike McCarthy and Sean McVay want to do it again. With Dallas still out in Oxnard at the moment, it just makes sense for them to continue hanging out since they have a process from last week’s session.
It is not unusual for things like this to materialize throughout the course of training camp. Consider that on the other side of things that just recently the San Francisco 49ers cancelled joint practices they had scheduled with the New Orleans Saints due to the number of injuries they are dealing with. You have to be able to adapt to the circumstances you are in the middle of, and clearly both the Cowboys and Rams feel ready and willing to adapt in this way.
The Cowboys will practice by themselves on Tuesday before meeting the Rams on Wednesday.
