Cowboys injury report: Caelen Carson listed as did not practice

The Dallas Cowboys crawled back into the building today after an exhaustive late surge against the Baltimore Ravens, ultimately falling short 28-25. The loss is disappointing because, for much of the game, the Cowboys looked lifeless and were incapable of doing anything offensively.

Meanwhile, the defense was gashed on the ground and surrendered 274 rushing yards to the Ravens offense, including 151 to Derrick Henry. This week, the 24-hour rule to forget Sunday’s results truly applies, as Dallas has a short week to prepare for the New York Giants on the road this Thursday. Here’s where the Cowboys stand with injuries in their practice ahead of their game against New York.

Safety Markquese Bell did not partake in today’s walkthrough with an ankle injury. Rookie cornerback Caelen Carson also did not practice with a shoulder injury. The extent of the injury is still unknown. Tight end John Stephens practiced fully. CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Trevon Diggs (foot) were fully involved on Monday. DeMarcus Lawrence was limited with a shoulder injury.

For the Giants:

Giants cornerbacks Adoree Jackson and Dru Phillips did not participate in team activities as they are managing calf injuries. Fellow cornerback Nick McCloud was limited with a lingering knee injury that caused him to miss the New York’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Micah McFadden was limited with a back injury and Darius Slayton was a limited participant after playing through a thumb injury Sunday. Also limited with an injury was Dexter Lawrence (foot).
