In 2014, the Cowboys competed against the Jacksonville Jaguars in a full-capacity Wembley Stadium in London. Tony Romo had sustained an injury two weeks before the game, fracturing two small bones in his back. Fortunately, Romo was able to play in London, where he excelled in the team’s last regular-season game held outside the United States, throwing three touchdown passes.

In the first quarter, Romo completed a two-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten, followed by two touchdown receptions by Dez Bryant in the second quarter. Bryant’s first score was a 35-yard pass and the second a 68-yard pass just before halftime. Notably, Bryant accumulated all 158 of his receiving yards during the second quarter, showcasing his ability to break multiple tackles on each touchdown reception.

DeMarco Murray achieved a total of 100 rushing yards on 19 attempts and contributed an additional 31 receiving yards. His remarkable streak of eight consecutive 100-yard games to start a season was halted by the Arizona Cardinals in the prior week. In the second half, Joseph Randle made an impact by scoring on a 40-yard run during his first carry of the game.

The Cowboys achieved an impressive 12-4 record, showcasing their potential as a championship-caliber team, however, they were defeated by Green Bay in the Divisional Round. The 2014 season also signified the final year in which Romo played a complete schedule before sustaining an injury that sidelined him for the majority of the 2015 season, leading to Dak Prescott taking over the position in 2016.
