Cowboys release unofficial depth chart ahead of preseason finale against Chargers
On Saturday, the Dallas Cowboys will play a game that does not count for the last time this year as they will wrap up preseason activity. For the first time since the playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers we will see them return to AT&T Stadium.
The Oxnard portion of training camp is basically done with just a week left in Frisco before preparations begin for the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. With a preseason game left, the Cowboys have to follow official NFL protocols and that means releasing a depth chart, even if it is unofficial.
If you take a look at last week’s unofficial depth chart you will notice very few differences, but that does not mean that there are not any.
Notably new Cowboys defensive linemen Jordan Phillips and Carl Lawson are present. Linval Joseph is not, but there was a follow up note that we included in our post about the news that the signing was not technically official. Perhaps that is why.
CeeDee Lamb is absent for the second week in a row, but remember that he is on the Reserve/Did Not Report list and therefore cannot appear on a depth chart at the moment.
Chuma Edoga is still listed at left tackle despite the toe injury and Brock Hoffman is still slotted ahead of Cooper Beebe.
This is the last unofficial depth chart of the year. Celebrate on that front.
