Cowboys roster cuts and news tracker [UPDATE]: Initial 53-man roster now finalized

The Dallas Cowboys set their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday afternoon and all roster cuts are complete.

The Dallas Cowboys have a long couple of days ahead of them as NFL mandates that every club must be down to their initial 53-man roster by 4:00pm ET this Tuesday, August 27th.
With training camp and all of the preseason action officially behind them, the team hopefully has enough data to make the decisions that will set the group up in as best position as possible to challenge for the sixth Lombardi trophy that has eluded them for almost three decades.
As always we will be tracking all of the relevant news, information and updates that you need as the team gets down to 53.
Remember that the NFL has a new adjustment to the roster rules this year where two players are allowed to be placed on injured reserve before the initial 53 is set and are able to be brought back during the season. The top candidates for this are Chuma Edoga and DaRon Bland.
We will make sure to include any other type of roster move that Dallas makes like trades and what not, but with the preseason games now officially over the roster cuts may begin to come.

Reported cuts on Monday, August 26th
The following roster moves were all reported by the mothership’s Patrik Walker:
- Waived: Cohl Cabral, Josh DeBerry, Wilie Harvey, Alec Holler, Cam Johnson, Jason Johnson, Nathaniel Peat, Eric Scott
- Waived/Injured: David Durden, Viliami (Junior) Fehoko, Durrell Johnson
- Terminated/Vested Veteran: Albert Huggins, Damien Wilson

Notes
- It was reported in the Carl Lawson news that Dallas could consider bringing him back to the practice squad. But the release explains the interest in Tyus Bowser that was reported on Tuesday.
- Despite initially being reported that he was a roster cut of theirs, the Cowboys are actually trading Peyton Hendershot to the Kansas City Chiefs for a late-round, conditional pick.
