Cowboys vs Browns player props with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott

The Dallas Cowboys play the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and you can add a little more spice to the game with prop bets.

FanDuel has a dizzying array of interesting prop bets for the game, so we’ll take a look at a few to try and get an idea of how the game may go.

First, a brief primer on the odds:

The “-” odds show how much you’d need to bet to win $100. For example, if you see the odds are -120, that means if you wager $120, your potential profit is $100 (plus your original stake).

The “+” odds show the amount of money you’d win if you bet $100. For example, if you see the odds are +120, that means if you wager $100, your potential profit is $120.

Here are the bets to take.

Dak Prescott under 249.5 passing yards -113

Everyone is probably saying don’t take the over here, and to be safe, don’t take it. Sure, Dak Prescott is fully capable of throwing for 250+ yards in any game, usually the over would be the easy play at that number. But the Browns secondary is fierce, and the Browns defense shut down many passing games last year. With Dallas breaking in two rookies on the offensive line, this game could turn into a defensive battle.

Amari Cooper over 57.5 receiving yards -113

Take the over here. With the Cowboys playing a rookie at outside corner, the Browns will do their best to isolate Amari Cooper on Caelen Carson. Certainly the erratic play of Deshaun Watson will be a factor, but that number of 57.5 seems awfully low for Cooper in a ‘revenge’ game for the Cowboys basically giving him away.

Ezekiel Elliott over 30.5 rushing yards -113

Eventually the Cowboys will realize that Rico Dowdle is their best option for the lead back, but expect the Cowboys to feed Ezekiel Elliott in this game in an effort to turn back the clock. Jerry and Stephen Jones would like nothing better than seeing their faith in a Zeke reunion paying off. He will get plenty of touches in this game and go over the 30.5 mark.
